Thou Shalt Not Host Thy Business Site on Shared Hosting

Seriously. If your business depends solely on your website, and you are expecting lots of visitors when sales are on — don’t host it on a shared host. Especially ones that are obviously overselling.

I have been searching for web hosting related podcast so I can learn about the industry while I am commuting, where sometimes it is inconvenient to read. To my surprise, there aren’t many that are available, consider web hosting would be a highly competitive (though low margin) industry.

BlueHost seems to be quite a reputable web hosting company. They are young (less than 3 years old). Their banners can be seen almost everywhere. 15Gb storage + 400Gb bandwidth for less than 7 bucks a month. Secure Shell is enabled (but probably jailed).
