Kinda wish I saw this a little sooner, had been debating between Slicehost & Linode as a replacement for a home server setup. I had been considering using Dreamhost but saw to much to put me off and in the end I wanted some control.
Certainly the feel of the Slicehost site won me over from Linode & the Linode where still only beta testing their XEN sestup. However Michael’s comments about the just randomly upgrading the hardware \ deals has me wondering if I made the right choice. Its nice to see that they are continuing to improve the package without asking for more money rather than leaving you with what you originally signed up for. (Not that any of us would have the right to expect them to, its just a nice touch).
Anyway thank you for your reviews of Slicehost, they where helpful in making my choice to go there.
