Hi,

thanks for the info about Dreamhosts offer! Even so some friend is not so happy about their service, it should be much better than no domain availability at all and they show good spirit ;-)

I had to help friends who went to the US here from Germany and who are more or less illiterate regarding the Internet (yes - it is tubes, isn't it?). Due to time-zone differences I decided not to loose too much sleep and searched for some help files. I couldn't find any at Dreamhost, but managed to dig one up, that must have been written for Internet Dummies : http://www.dyndns.com/images/pdf/fleewithglee.pdf

The document is offered by DynDNS, but should help anyway! Might that be of help to all others who are still suffering from the "BadFly". And thanks to ICANN to put a stop to that.
